Assistance dogs in clinic

In our clinics we accommodate patients with assistance dogs.

Our clinic staff are aware of assistance dog etiquette. Our clinicians will speak to the handler and understand they are not to:

Informed by the Equality Act 2010, you can find out more information about our Supporting Patients with Assistance Dogs Policy here.

Your GP should have told us that you will be being assisted by a dog on your request form, but in case they have not, please make the booking team aware as soon as possible.

Whilst most of our staff love dogs, not all do and some are afraid of dogs, so to ensure we can make your appointment go as smoothly as possible please let us know in advance.
